The Lady Trojans of Hillsboro counted on solid defense and timely pitching today as they defeated Ell-Saline, 3-0 to advance to the Class 2-1A state title game.

#3 Hillsboro (23-2) will face #1 Chase County (25-0) in the championship game at 1:00 pm today. Chase County is the defending champion after they went undefeated last season.

#2 Ell-Saline (24-1) will play #4 Udall (21-4) at Noon today for 3rd place.
