1. In addition to being horrible drivers, Dickinson county residents are the worst tippers (if they tip at all)! Also, don’t argue over who wants the bill and when it’s given to you, completely stiff your server, even though she did a great job! It shouldn’t cost me money to wait on your tight you-know-what! But that’s exactly what happens when you don’t tip. I have to tip the bartender and host on your total check! Don’t worry though, I’ve promised to let the other servers know who you are, if you come back, so you can get the service you pay for (which will be poor). I’ve also shared your name with them. You get what you pay for!

2. The LGBT controversy isn’t about who’s having sex with who, it’s about basic civil rights, like marriage. Once gay people can have all the benefits of straight people, then we can tone it down.

3. The moral bankruptcy of Republicans is more evident every day – -and now especially their love of our troops and wanting to outsource our justice system to the Taliban. Disgusting!!!

4. When is the city of Salina going to get around to changing the burnt out street lights? There are about 7 on Broadway, stretching from the overpass to 9th St, that are burnt out. And some burnt out on 9th St. by Thomas Park. When are they going to replace the bulbs so we can actually see people walking down the road?
