Police arrest a 20-year-old man Sunday morning after finding him asleep on the floor inside the Board of Trade building in east Salina.

Officers were sent to the offices of Wilson and Company at 1700 E. Iron just after 7:30am on the report of a burglary.

When they arrived they found a door had been damaged and found Joshua Hatfield of Salina, on the floor asleep.

Hatfield had also opened up a bag of snack mix inside the business before going to sleep.

Hatfield was arrested on requested charges of burglary, theft, damage to property, and consumption of alcohol.

Damage to the door was estimated at just over $1,000
