Wynona May Wolfe, 87, died Monday, June 9, 2014. She was born May 15, 1927, in Salina to parents Charles and Hulda (Swanson) Nelson.

She lived in New York and Florida with her husband, Michael, who preceded her in death in 1982. She returned to Salina and was currently residing at Villa St. Francis nursing home in Olathe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles R. Nelson, and her sister, Mildred Branton.

She is survived by: her son, William Wolfe; daughter, Annette Wolfe; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wolfe; son-in-law, Steve Harbourne; sister-in-law, Charlene Nelson; four grandchildren, Evan Wolfe, Melissa Bellevue, Michael Wolfe and Charlie Carswell; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, in Mission Hill Cemetery, Smolan. There will be no visitation. Cremation was chosen. Memorials: to Villa St. Francis, Olathe, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
