William E. “Bud” Coburn, 80, Assaria, Kansas died Monday, August 18, 2014. He was born March 11, 1934 in Salina, Kansas to Samuel J. and Alvena (Oeser) Coburn. During the Korean Conflict, he served as a military policeman for the U.S. Army. On November 13, 1976 he married Betty Laas Jensen at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina. He was a lifetime resident of the Gypsum and Assaria areas where he was a farmer and stockman. He worked for the ASCS office in Salina for forty years, was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Lefties bowling team, and was an avid pitch player. Bud was a kind and caring person who touched many lives.
Bud is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Teresa Swisher and husband John of Assaria, Kansas, and Danette Toone and husband John of Concordia, Kansas; a son Mike Jensen of Gypsum, Kansas; a sister JoAnn Karber of Salina; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 255 S. 7th, Salina, with Rev. Kent Happel officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Bavaria Cemetery, Bavaria, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Bavaria Cemetery, in care of Ryan Mortuary.

Harry Jene “Jino” Fuller, 53, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 15th, at Veteran’s Affairs Hospice, Wichita, Kansas.
Harry was born in Salina, Kansas on August 27, 1960, son of Vonda Arlene (Rea) Fuller and the late Harry G. Fuller.
He worked as a Welder and Millwright, for Coronado Engineering, Cessna, Raytheon, PKM Steel, and Cross Midwest.
Jino spent 7 years in the United States Army, stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas and Panama City, Panama.
Survivors include his mother, Vonda Fuller, of Salina, Kansas; two sons, Jason Allen, of Salina, Kansas, Brendon Fuller, of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Michelle, wife of Morgan Evans, of Lees Summit, Missouri; Denise Cotton, of Lees Summit, Missouri; and four Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harry G. Fuller.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas. Inurnment will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery Solomon, Kansas. The family requests you to come in casual attire.

Patricia “Patty” Colleen Leonhart Griggs, 58, went to be with our Lord, Friday August 15, 2014 in Salina. She was born October 24, 1955 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Wilbur and Wanda (Roof) Leonhart. She grew up in the area of Houston, Texas for 9 years, before moving to Little Rock, Arkansas for 3 years and then moving to Salina, Kansas. She got her GED and moved on to graduate Salina Area Vo-Tech to get her CNA Home Health Aide degree. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Salina.
On December 17, 1982, she married Jerry Wayne Griggs, whom she met through her sister Nancy. They have been together for 36 years. Their life together was spent between living around the areas of Paragould, Arkansas and Salina, Kansas. In 1988, they settled in Salina, Kansas. She had jobs at Plainsmen Supply and Otasco, while Jerry worked as a transmission technician. She was a caretaker and a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Leonhart; and older brother, Joe Leonhart.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Salina; mother, Wanda Leonhart of Salina; two sisters, Nancy (Bob) Lepping of Salina, Loretta Childers of Olathe, Kansas; brother, Gerald (Ginny) Leonhart of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sons, Toby (Heavenly) McQuillan of Weskan, Kansas, Billy (Jeni) McQuillan of Gypsum, Kansas; 10 grandchildren, Shiann, Austin, Bailey, Desirae, Myriah, Cassidy, Taylor, Emma, Gage, Scarlett; special niece, Michelle (Travis) Lobdell.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday, August 22, 2014, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Salina, Kansas with Pastor Kevin Hazelton officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery Salina, Kansas.

Myron Dale Price, 54, Minneapolis, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Myron was born at the Whiteman Air Force Base on October 15, 1959 to James and Ellen (Delavan) Price.
He joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and spent tours in Korea and Germany. Myron was honorably discharged after 13 years of service. He worked for Sam’s Club and Kwik Shop both in Salina.
Survivors include his wife Geralyn (Budreau) Price of the home; daughters Eileen Price who is an honor student at Butler Community College and Jade Price who is a Junior at Minneapolis Junior Senior High School; parents James and Ellen Price of Salina; siblings Elton Price of Colorado Springs, CO, Ina Olsson of Littleton, CO, John Price of Los Lunas, NM; Lori Price of Leavenworth; and Anita Saint Pay of Anna, TX.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 23 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Minneapolis. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where a vigil and rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Price Girl’s Education Fund.
