Steven Gregory Porter, 23, Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Salina. He was born November 26, 1990 in Salina to George Sr. and Lola (Clark) Porter.

Steven was a 2009 graduate of Minneapolis High School. He was currently working at the Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis where he was a C.N.A. and C.M.A.

Survivors include his parents George Sr. and Lola Porter; brothers George Porter, Jr. (Shannon Ramsey) and David Porter (Kristina); and nieces and nephews Saige, Dylan, Addison, and Kinsley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 26 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Cremation will follow the services and burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5 – 7. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis.
