kit40902Elizabeth Lucille Young Kittrell, of Salina, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014. She was born May 20, 1962, in Tucson, Ariz. to Richard and Karen Young.

She graduated from Wichita County High School in 1980, and attended beauty school in Goodland. Elizabeth loved horses and was especially fond of a white one named King Arthur. She married Charles Olin Kittrell on April 17, 1993, in Brookville, and worked as a beautician in Salina.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Betty Young, Lillian Cole and Edward and Evangaline Cole.

She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Salina; son, Curtis (Shea) Orth, of Brookville; granddaughter, Isla Mae Orth, of Brookville; father, Richard (Jeanne) Young, of Wichita; mother, Karen Cole Hudson, of Brookville; sister, Kim (Shawn) Fisher, of Brookville; stepbrothers, Tom (Kim) Hudson, of Bennett, Colo., Tyler (Deb) Hudson, of Morrill, Neb., and True (Christy) Hudson, of Lompoc, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Ryan Mortuary.
