The Saline County Road and Bridge Department has announced that Sundgren Road from Arcola Road to Sunnyside Road will be closed to through traffic Monday, September 15th to permit a Saline County Road and Bridge Department crew to replace an existing cross road culvert located 2,200 feet west of the Sundgren Road/Sunnyside Road intersection.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations. Local and emergency traffic will be provided access to private properties within the closed section of Sundgren Road at all times but only from the side of the work zone that the property lies upon.

The work is projected to be completed by the end of Wednesday, September 17th.
