The Saline County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting “Operation Medicine Cabinet” in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administrations (DEA) National Prescription Drug “Take-Back” Day on September 27, 2014 between the hours of 10am and 2pm.

Sheriff Deputies will be stationed at two locations: The sheriff’s office located at 251 North 10th street in Salina between the hours of 10am and 2pm and the Reserve Sheriff Deputies will be at Dillon’s located at 1235 East Cloud in Salina between 10am and 2pm.

The public is asked to bring any and all unwanted / unused medications and prescription drugs to any of these locations for a safe, convenient and responsible way of disposing of prescription drugs.
