SALINA – Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is inviting the community to join the fun and learn more about the benefits of Girl Scouts during an upcoming Girl Scout Open House that is open to all girls and their families.

The Girl Scout Open House will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Girl Scout Office, 3115 Enterprise Drive, Suite C, in Salina. This is a great opportunity to join the fun and excitement in Girl Scouts, which builds girls of courage, confidence and character.

During this free community event, girls will enjoy arts and crafts as they learn about leadership opportunities and other upcoming Girl Scout activities in their area. Girls and their families can take a look around the Girl Scout Shop and meet the Girl Scout staff members. Adults interested in volunteering and making an impact in the lives of local girls are also invited to attend.
