UPDATE —SOLOMON- An employee of Solomon Corporation, 103 West Main, suffered a broken arm during an industrial accident just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Mike Dahl, Corporate Environmental and Safety Manager for the oil field service business, said the employee was cutting a transformer pad when the side blew out.
“He inerted it- a process that uses industrial gas- for the required time so we are not sure what happened,” Dahl explained.
“The employee was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center. We are busy investigating to determine what caused the accident.”
