The I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force arrested two men Thursday evening, after the ingredients needed for a methamphetamine cook were found in a gym bag at a Salina home.

Lt. Bill Cox, the Drug Task Force Commander said a Salina Police Officer was sent to a home in the 300 block of S. 10th, when a resident of the home found a suspicious bag in the home.

The officer discovered inside the bag the materials needed to make meth, and called for assistance from the Drug Task Force.

Arrested Thursday evening for possession of ephedrine or precursor with intent for unlawful use, were 18-year-old Trace Cutbirth, and 48-year-old Martin Yoho. Both could face additional charges.

Lt. Cox said this is the second meth lab that the DTF has come across in the last couple of weeks. Cox said it has been about two years since the last meth lab was found in the area.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was contacted to dispose of the materials.
