A man arrested over Friday for passing counterfeit checks, is also charged with a robbery at a Salina home on September 24th.

26-year-old Neil Tinio is accused of passing phoney checks on a non-existent account at Bank VI at Dillards, and a Kwik Shop on September 19th, and September 20th. The amount of the checks totaled $379. A fourth check he tried to cash a Dillards for $438 was declined.

Tinio is also a suspect in a robbery where a SUV was taken from a home in the 500 block of Upper Mill Heights the early morning hours of September 24th. Another suspect in the robbery 33-year-old Alberto Deleon was charged Thursday in the robbery. Deleon was already in jail on US Federal Marshal’s Office warrant for parole violation.

Tinio is also accused of using a fake Colorado drivers license with the name of Miles Javier.
