An informational presentation about the proposed Criminal Justice Complex ballot issue will take place at the Salina Senior Center on October 22, 2014.

The presentation by Saline County Sheriff’s Captain Roger Soldan is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. October 22 in the dining room of the Salina Senior Center, 245 N. Ninth. The presentation is open to the public at no charge.

If approved by voters in the November 4, 2014, election, a special half-cent sales tax would go to fund the project, which would include additional jail space as well as space for District Court facilities, the County Attorney’s Offices, Community Corrections, and parking. The facility would be built on the site of the current Saline County Jail.
