A suspect in the beating of a woman in late June, was arrested Thursday on a warrant requesting charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.
44-year-old David D.Poole is alleged to have hit a woman acquaintance in the face and strangled her to the point she passed out, following an argument on June 24th at a central Salina home. Poole also is alleged to have damaged the woman’s cell phone.
The woman who suffered a bloody nose, and her eyes were swollen shut, was treated for her injuries at the hospital.
Poole had left the home after the incident, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was located Thursday.
