Salina Presbyterian Manor will host its 34th annual soup supper event on Friday, October 24th, from 4:30 to 7:00pm at 2601 East Crawford.
Tickets to enjoy the homemade chili and chicken noodle soup as well as homemade pies are only $6.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door for adults, and $4.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door for children age ten and under.
Carry-out service is also available. A shuttle bus will provide transport from the East Crawford Recreation Area.
The soup supper is Salina Presbyterian Manor’s annual fund raising event. This year proceeds from the event will be used toward the purchase of a handicapped and wheelchair accessible bus so all residents can enjoy off-campus activities and events.
Special drawings include a queen-size quilt and pillow shams created by multiple Manor residents, K-State and KU banners with hangers, two original stained glass pieces by resident Don Smischny, a $50 gasoline card and other items.
A silent auction will feature a K-State basketball signed by Bruce Weber and a football signed by Bill Snyder. A KU basketball signed by Bill Self will also be in the silent auction.
A craft and baked goods area will be available. Salina Presbyterian Manor has served Salina and the area since 1980.
