The Saline County Commission on Aging (COA) seeks applicants for membership on its Board of Directors.
The COA, a legal entity of Saline County, is a non-profit organization that operates the Salina Senior Center and Salina Meals On Wheels. It was formally established by County Commission resolution on March 12, 1974. The COA has its own administrative structure and is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors. The COA receives funding from Saline County, but also relies heavily on donations, government subsidies, and grants.
Persons interested in applying must be legal residents of Saline County. COA Board Interest Forms are available on the COA’s website – salinecoa.org – or at the reception desk of the Salina Senior Center, 245 N. Ninth.
