A 21-year-old Salina man is arrested on drug charges Tuesday evening after being stopped for not wearing a seat belt in the 600 block of Viemont.

An officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car, and during a search found 35-grams of marijuana, and prescription medications in the car of Macio D. Palacio.

Also in the car were a 9-year-old boy and 1-year-old boy. They were released to a guardian.

Palacio was taken into custody on requested charges of felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of aggravated child endangerment.
