A disagreement over a cell phone and 60-day tag leads to the arrest of a man and woman early Friday morning.
Salina Police Captain Chris Trocheck said police were dispatched to the Valero Convenience Store at 848 N. Broadway about 1 am.
A 28-year-old man and 22-year-old woman, who were in a relationship, met at the parking lot where the woman and her 17-year-old sister climbed on the hood and back of the Ford Escort driven by the man to prevent him from leaving. The man did drive a short distance with one of the women hanging onto the hood. The 22-year-old woman also rammed the SUV she was driving into the back of the car. No one was hurt.
The man and woman were taken into custody on requested charges of damage to property and domestic battery. The 17-year-old girl was released to the custody of her parents.
