Salina, Kansas, April 2nd, 2015 – Express Employment Professionals, the nation’s
largest franchised staffing company, along with its franchise location in Salina, Kansas, donated $5,000 to Noon Network, the Salina chapter of National AMBUCS™, a non-profit dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities. The donation is part of The Impact Project, an initiative of the company’s philanthropic committee, designed to give back to nonprofits nominated by franchisees among their 725 franchise locations.

“We pride ourselves on having a culture built on giving and service at Express,” said Bob Funk, CEO of Express Employment Professionals. “With that in mind, we know how important it is to support the communities where we work, serve and live. The dedication and support that our Salina owner Lisa Heath has shown for Noon Network AMBUCS™ is a great example of that service.

Noon Network is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit foundation serving families in the Salina area with disabled family members , with a motivation to help children with disabilities. They have a focus on providing AMTRYKES, specially designed bicycles, to disabled children, allowing them to experience the joy of riding a bike with their family. Recently, they raised enough funds to build a playground designed for disabled children.

“I’m honored to be a part of a company that believes so strongly in giving back to the communities where we live,” Heath said. “Noon Network holds a special place in the heart of our team at Express, and we’re excited they were selected as one of the charities to receive this donation.”

Express puts people to work. It generated $2.85 billion in sales and employed more than 456,000 people in 2014, and ranks as the largest franchised staffing company and second largest privately held staffing company in the United States. Its long-term goal is to put a million people to work annually.
