Last month, Don Weiser was named President and CEO of The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce.

Weiser was nominated for this honor for the work he has done through the chamber. He is making Salina a better community.

Weiser has a passion to help strengthen the area economy by creating jobs, bringing in new business and assisting local businesses in the area of growth.

The chamber of commerce gets involved in community issues and anything else that makes Salina a better community. Weiser expressed how important it is to attract new businesses and to get existing businesses to expand.

“I am proud to be a member. I have been here for 40 years and have been in the chamber for 40 years. I want to give back and continue to do something positive for this community,” Weiser said.
