A McPherson woman was arrested Thursday night on two counts of child endangerment after leaving her children alone in a car while shopping.

Captain Chris Trocheck said 31-year-old Eunice Sanchez left an 8-year-old girl, and 1-year-old girl in her car while shopping at Walmart.

About 9:30p.m. a man who left the store noticed the two girls alone, and called police.

Sanchez was arrested about 10p.m. when she returned to the car.

The girls were placed in the custody of their grandmother.
