Sioux City has been a Jekyll and Hyde type of team this season. The Bandits have not won on the road and they have not lost at home. Saturday night was no different as the Bandits were able to defend their home field and complete the season sweep of the Salina Bombers by a score of 79-56.
Chris Coffin threw for 7 touchdowns and ran for another as the Bombers racked up 288 yards of total offense. OJ Simpson caught 3 touchdowns and Jared Elmore caught 2.
Dewayne Autrey led the Bombers defense with 9 tackles.
The Bombers have now lost back to back games for just the second time in franchise history.
Salina (4-3) will return home to host Wichita (4-2) on Saturday, April 25th at the Bicentennial Center.
