Mary Elizabeth Adams, 90, of Salina, died Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born March 12, 1925, in Marysville to Robert and Dollie (Huff) Ferrell. She married Arthur W. Adams, Sr. “Art” on Aug. 24, 1946, in Topeka.
She attended Lincoln Grade School and graduated from Marysville High School in 1943. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 37 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a 66 year member of the Order of the Easten Star, Hilda Chapter #164, Marysville; life member of the Ladies Auxillary of V.F.W. post #1432, Telephone Pioneers and Belmont Blvd Christian Church.
Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Wally Ferrell and his spouse, Lois.
She is survived by her husband, Art; son, A.W. “Dub” Adams Jr. (Carol), of Salina; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Belmont Blvd Christian Church with Rev. Tara Thompson officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Marysville City Cemetery, Marysville.
Visititation will be held from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 23, with family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the church.

Helen Marie Haase, 86, of Salina, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, surrounded by family. She was born January 26, 1929, in Salina, to Henry Lee and Ruby Mae Vidricksen. She was married to Robert (Bob) Haase on January 26, 1949.
Helen was a lifelong Salina resident, graduating from Salina High School. She was a homemaker most of her life, later working as secretary and event coordinator for Vidricksen food service.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, sons, Stephen, Mark, and Michael, and brother, Norman Vidricksen.
She is survived by sons, Paul (Marilyn), Ralph (Mary), Greg (Brenda), all of Salina, David (Teresa), of Wichita, daughters, Jane King (Terry), of Salina, Sara Cooper (Ed), of Rye, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren Mark, Matthew, Scott, Jeffery, Jennifer, Rachel, Brian, Robert, Elizabeth, Christopher King, Kalee King, Lucas, Nicholas, Lauryn, Kelsey, Morgan, Macy, Clarke, Allison, Alex, Sydney, Tristin, and nine great grandchildren.
She is also survived by brothers, Robert (Bob) Vidricksen, Ben Vidricksen, and Francis (Fred) Vidricksen.
Helen never knew a stranger, and always lent a helping hand. Her friends were from all walks of life and are too numerous to mention.
Visitation will be Friday April 24, 2015, at Ryan’s Funeral Home from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M., Friday, with Vigil at 7:00 P.M.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
