Saturday, May 9 2015 marks the 23rd annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive.

The Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank is hard at work preparing for this event, and you can participate too! Bags will be provided a few days before the event, and on that Saturday simply leave any goods you wish to donate in the bag by your mailbox.

Volunteers are also needed to sort, organize, and process all the food coming in that day. Contact The Volunteer Connection at (785) 823.3128 to sign up. There will be a BBQ lunch for all volunteers!

From 8am – 3pm on Friday, May 8 the Salina Post Office will have a kickoff event with donuts and hotdogs in the back parking lot.

If you are unable to leave items out on May 9 you can bring your donation to the Post Office at this time. Call (785) 827.7111 for more details, and to see what foods are accepted.
