Police have arrested a Salina man on a requested charge of rape.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 49-year-old Bernabe T. Perez is alleged to have sexually molested a preteen girl at a Salina home at the end of March. Perez is an acquaintance of the girl.

Perez was arrested Monday after a parent notified police of the incident.
