vet_ffffffhem50511Larry Richard Hemmy, 79, of Salina, died Monday, May 11, 2015. He was born Aug. 27, 1935, to Richard Sr. and Elverda (Malmstrom) Hemmy.

After serving two years in the U.S. Army, Larry worked for KPL/Western Resources for forty years, retiring in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; his parents; brother, Richard Jr.; and sisters, Darlene Williams, Janice Brown, Carolyn Grout, and Jolaine Hemmy.

Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Doll, Janet Andrusak, and Debra (Ernie) Pica; brothers, Paul, Jim, John, Bill, and Jerry; sisters, Rosemary Divilbiss, Joyce Hemmy, Marilyn Edwards, and Barbara Marsh; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 18. Preceding Mass will be visitation at 9 a.m. and vigil service at 9:30 a.m. all at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials: to Sacred Heart Cathedral or Hospice of Salina.

Our Sweet Baby Girl, Jonah Jean Sanders, became our beautiful angel, May 11, 2015 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born to Cody and Destinee Sanders on May 11, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Terry Jean Swinton-Haggard.

She is survived by her parents, big brother, Princeton; maternal grandmother, Angela De Julio; paternal grandfather, James Haggard; maternal great grandparents, Phyllis and Melvin Wright; paternal great grandparents, Joyce Dejulio Burr and Sheldon Burr; paternal great grandmother, Deona Swinton; great aunt Donna Smith; and Aunt Lexi DeJulio, all of Salina; uncle, Billy Sanders, of Council Bluffs, maternal great great grandmother, Adelia Grieve, of Osborne; as well as many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, with Pastor Ed Mathis, officiating.

Mark R. Jonvet_ffffffes, 64, Minneapolis, died Tuesday, May 13, 2015 at the Salina Regional Health Center. He was born December 4, 1950 in Denver to Charles J. and Betty L. (Carr) Jones.

He served in the United States Army for ten years. Mark then worked various jobs including a maintenance supervisor for Walmart in Denver. He was united in marriage with Margo Kelly on October 9, 1987. Mark was a member of the N.R.A. and he loved hunting.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Margo; mother Betty Jones; children Matthew Jones and his wife Stacy, Benjamin Jones, and Elizabeth Carson and her husband Caleb; brother Christopher Jones; sister Nancy Kennedy; and two grandchildren Noah and Eli Carson.

There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project
