Kansas City Chiefs Make Seven Roster Moves

kansas_city_chiefs_wallpaper-299031On Tuesday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs announced several roster moves as rookie minicamp wrapped up.  General manager John Dorsey signed four players while sending three home. Here are the moves that were made:

Signed:
RB Keshawn Hill, Sam Houston St.
C Daniel Munyer, Colorado
OT Kevin Palmer, Baylor
G Melvin Meggs, South Alabama

Released:
OT Charles Sweeton, Tennessee-Martin
RB Manasseh Garner, Pittsburgh
TE Earnest Pettway, Villanova

All of these men were undrafted-rookie free agents who Kansas City gave a look over the weekend.  Unfortunately, three of them did not make the initial cut.  With months before the actual training camp begins in St. Joseph, there are plenty more moves to be made.

The Chiefs currently have 90 players on their roster, which is the off-season limit.  The roster must be trimmed down to 53 players by the start of the regular season in September.
