Salina Police were involved in a brief chase Sunday afternoon after attempting to stop a car with illegal tags.

Captain Chris Trocheck said 34-year-old Tyler Kuhn of Concordia failed to stop, just before 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of 4th and Mulberry, when a police officer attempted to pull him over.

A chase went through a mini storage drive and the car became airborne after driving over concrete blocks. Kuhn allegedly drove through a private yard and between two fence posts before finally coming to a stop at Columbia and Johnstown.

Kuhn was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of flee and elude, reckless driving, no proof of insurance, obstruction and other traffic violations.
