More storms possible

The strongest activity generally west of I-135 will be capable of quarter size hail, 60 mph winds and locally very heavy rain. The main threat over generally the eastern half of Kansas will be small hail, 50 mph winds and locally very heavy rain.

 

Today A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Breezy, with a south wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tonight Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Friday A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. South southwest wind 8 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Friday Nigh tA 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. North wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Saturday Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. North wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
