Hot, windy and a chance for storms

Warm above normal temperatures for Wednesday with night time strong thunderstorms possible over central Kansas. Small hail and gusty winds would be the primary risk from these storms.

Tonight A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 17 to 22 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Thursday A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. South southeast wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday Night A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. South southeast wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
