KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 11, 2015) – The Kansas City Royals announced today that catcher Erik Kratz has been returned from his rehab assignment, reinstated from the disabled list and designated for assignment. Kratz, 34, went on the disabled list on May 6 with plantar fasciitis on his left foot and had been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha.

The Royals now have 39 players on their 40-man Major League roster.
