GreatLife Golf & Fitness, 1705 Country Club Lane – Abilene (June 10)
– No papertowels or other hand drying provision available at handsink upon entry. Corrected on site: Papertowels provided.
– In front reach in cooler, cooked hot dogs not dated and open date is unknown. Corrected on site: hot dogs discarded.
– In front reach in cooler, tightly lidded plastic container of raw hamburger setting on top of package of unopened hot dogs. Corrected on site: raw hamburger moved.
– Spray bottle of carpet cleaner setting on shelf next to box of single use cups. Corrected on site: cleaner moved.
– Larger handle at handsink is missing. The current handle is approximately 1″ long and is hard to move.
– Hole in the floor in front of the handwashing sink that is accumulating debris.
– Approximately 8 old rodent droppings on the floor by the water softener in the storage room.
Joe Snuffy’s Old Fashioned Grill, 209 W. 1st – Abilene (June 8)
– Upon arrival, facility had cleaned up from fire. Per owner, fire started about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at the grill top stove/oven, and exposed food was discarded and all surfaces cleaned. Closed loaves of bread and buns that were 6 feet from fire were discarded.
Pizza Hut, 1703 N. Buckeye – Abilene (June 10)
– Six plastic containers and 20 plastic lids on clean pan rack have sticker residue on them. Corrected on site: containers and lids moved to 3 vat sink area.
Seasonal Soft Ball Park, 1020 NW 8th – Abilene (June 5)
– No food thermometer to measure temperature of hot or cold foods. Corrected on site: manager located thermometers.
– No chlorine test strips available for testing level of chlorine sanitizer used to sanitized food contact surfaces. Corrected on site: test strips provided by inspector.
– Food license posted in kitchen area not visable to customer. Corrected on site: food license moved.
Subway, 313 S. E Street – Herington (June 9)
– Spray bottle of purple solution by back door not labeled. Corrected on site: removed from store.
King Solomon Camp, 295 2350 Ave – Solomon (June 10)
– In walk in cooler, mashed potatoes dated 6/7 and gravy dated 6/7 are held past discard date. Kitchen worker said items are dated with the expiration date. Corrected on site: mashed potated and gravy were discarded.
– Working containers of clear fluid not labeled, person in charge identified as sanitizer. Corrected on site: containers labeled.
