A Saline County man, going to pick up some firewood Sunday morning, finds the burnt out shell of a stolen 2005 Mercury Mountaineer.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said 37-year-old Justin Kindlesparger contacted the Sheriff’s Office about 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning after finding the vehicle behind some trees at 7400 S. Lightville Road.

The Mountaineer was reported stolen from Great Bend on May 22nd.

The vehicle is valued at $7,000.
