OSAGE COUNTY – A Salina teen was injured in an accident just after 6:00 p.m. on Friday in Osage County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Buick Rendezvous driven by Anna Kay Zuercher, 19, Salina, was southbound on U.S. 75 just south of the Shawnee County line.

Zuercher fell asleep and her vehicle left the roadway. She overcorrected and the vehicle rolled.

Zuercher was transported to Stormont-Vail HealthCare Center in Topeka.

She was properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
