A $50 counterfeit bill was found in a bank deposit. The bogus bill was discovered in the deposit of LaQuinta Inn, 201 E. Diamond Drive. It is believed the bill was passed between June 26th and June 29th. It was reported to police by Sunflower Bank, 176 N. Santa Fe, on Monday.

A man has reported to Salina Police that his car was stolen. 63-year-old John Morris said the 2000 Buick LaSabre, white in color, was parked at Bohm Farm and Ranch, 672 S. Broadway. The license plate number is 813-BKT. It was taken between June 23rd and June 28th. Total loss is placed at $2,000.
