Introducing Dylin Loder, your BANK VI Hero of the Week!

Dylin is the gymnastics coach for the Salina YMCA GemStars Level 3 and up girls. He works primarily with girls between the ages of 7 and 14. He has been in this position since he returned to Salina after college in 2013.

Dylin’s involvement in gymnastics began when he was in the 7th grade, when he began taking tumbling lessons. From there, he turned his loved of gymnastics into becoming a coach.

Not only does Dylin bring a positive attitude, hard work, and tireless dedication to coaching the girls, but he ‘teaches’ them too. Dylin has been seen on several occasions encouraging the girls when they didn’t think they could “do it” anymore or were about to quit and thus, miss their goals. Many times young people in our community are left without a true role model, but with the life-long skills that Dylin is teaching the girls, they will most likely be productive, confident, and successful women in our communities.

Dylin also seems to be like a positive magnet with parents and community members alike. Many say he is a true hero to his girls and to the profession of coaching.
