A Salina man was arrested and faces several charges after he allegedly pulled a knife on a neighbor and a police officer.

Salina Police Captain Chris Trocheck says that 51-year-old Jerry Allen Huff of 207 E. Mulberry, allegedly made comments directed toward the girlfriend of 17-year-old Dylan Vessey, who lived nearby.

Vessey confronted Huff after the comments were made. Huff then pulled a folding knife from his pocket and threatened Vessey. Huff also threatened a Salina Police officer, who had responded to the incident, with the unfolded knife. The incident occurred in the 200 block of E. Huff was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Disorderly Conduct, Aggravated Assault of a Law Enforcement Officer, and Felony Obstruction.
