Two Vehicle Accident at Crawford and Roach

EDITORS NOTE: Original information given to The Salina Post regarding the driver that was cited was incorrect. That error has since been corrected. The Salina Post offers its apologies to those effected.

There were no serious injuries in a two vehicle accident at Crawford and Roach late Tuesday afternoon.

Salina Police Master Patrol Officer Rande Repp tells the Salina Post at the scene that a Chevy Uplander driven by Georgia Lytle was eastbound on Crawford and was attempting to turn left when it was struck in the intersection by a westbound Ford Fusion driven by Kristi Buchwald of Salina. The accident happened just after 3:30 p.m.

Repp said there were minor injuries and no one was transported to the hospital.

According to Repp, the driver of the Uplander was cited for failure to yield right of way.
