2015 Mill and Inlay Road Work Update The City’s annual Mill and Inlay work will continue on Monday September 14, 2015.

The schedule for September 14 – September 18, weather permitting, is as follows:

September 14: Oak Circle – Beach Street to Cloud Circle
                             Acorn Circle – Cloud Circle to Dover Circle
                             Dover Circle – Cloud Street to Osage Drive
                             Roberts Avenue – Talley Drive to Cloud Street

September 15: Acorn Circle – Cloud Circle to Dover Circle
                             Osage Avenue – Cloud Circle to Pawnee Avenue
                             Roberts Avenue – Talley Drive to Cloud Street
                             Carlton Place – Roberts Avenue to Page Avenue

September 16: Cloud Circle – Cloud St to Dover Circle
                             Carlton Place – Roberts Avenue to Page Avenue

September 17: Dover Circle – Cloud Street to Osage Drive
                             Roberts Avenue – Talley Drive to Cloud Street
                             Ingman Road – Talley Drive to Page Avenue
                             Page Avenue – Talley Drive to Roberts Avenue

September 18: Roberts Avenue – Talley Drive to Cloud Street

While the work is in progress, individual roads will be closed to through traffic. The contractor will begin setting traffic control at 7 a.m. Residences and businesses will be notified prior to changes in access to properties. On-street parking in work zones will be prohibited. Any vehicles, or equipment, left on the street on the day paving is scheduled may be towed at the owners’ expense.

This project is a major component of the 2015 Street Maintenance Program. The project consists of milling the existing asphalt street surface 1.5” deep and then resurfacing it with new asphalt to rehabilitate and preserve the pavement section. Permanent pavement markings will be placed shortly after resurfacing is complete.
