Two people were hurt in a crash on I-70 near the Ohio Street exit early Thursday evening.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said 30-year-old Efram Winder of Platte City, Missouri, was westbound on the interstate at about 5:30 p.m., when his car veered off the highway into the median and struck the pillar of the Ohio Street bridge going over the highway.

Winder and his 10-year-old daughter, Hannah Winder of Chapman, were taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries.

Efram was transferred to a Wichita hospital early Friday morning.
