A 25-year-old woman was arrested last Thursday on four counts of aggravated child endangerment after her 3-year-old son was found on a school playground.

Salina Police Captain Chris Trocheck said officers found the son of Angelia M. Napoleone away from his home without any adult supervision on four occasions in the last month.

On August 27th, the toddler was found on East Iron Avenue in just a diaper.

On September 1st, the child was found running down a street near Sunset Elementary School.

On September 4th, the boy got into the family vehicle, put it into neutral, and it backed into the street striking a car.

Napoleone said on the 1st and 4th, she was asleep and was not aware the boy had gotten outside the home.

The boy has been placed into protective custody.
