A 35-year-old man suffers a broken jaw after he was reportedly beaten and robbed late Thursday night.

Salina Police Captain Chris Trocheck said the man was getting out of his car in the 1200 block of N. 7th around 11 p.m., when a white male and a black male attacked him.

The victim was knocked to the ground, and the suspects believed to be in their 20’s, took his wallet, which contained $60 in cash.

Police were notified of the incident after the man went to Salina Regional Health Center to be treated for his injuries.
