Thanks to a surveillance app on a cell phone, the owner of a chocolate shop was able to help police capture a burglar late Friday evening.

Captain Mike Sweeney said the owner of Sweet on You Gourmet Chocolate, 157 N. 7th, checked surveillance video of the store about 11:40 p.m. Friday night and noticed someone inside the building.

Police were called and 59-year-old Charles Jones was found in a locked room of the business.

Entry to the building was gained by breaking a window in a door.

Jones was booked into the Saline County Jail on charges of burglary, theft, obstruction, and damage to property.
