The National Weather Service issued high wind warnings for most of Kansas on Wednesday.

Salina Regional Airport reported gusts of 46 miles per hour.

Gusts of 45 miles per hour were reported  a mile north of Ellsworth. The airports in Russell and Hutchinson recorded gusts of 47 miles per hour

Wichita reported gusts of 55 and 53 miles per hour.

The southeast Kansas community of Chanute reported the strongest gusts of 58 miles per hour on Wednesday.
