One Taken To Hospital After Accident at East Salina Intersection

One person was taken to the hospital following a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Connecticut and Stapler.

Salina Police Officer Breanna Kuhlman tells The Salina Post at the scene that a Chevy Impala driven by 43-year-old Donna Halton was westbound on Stapler, when it collided in the intersection with a Ford Edge driven by 24-year-old Megan Kemler just before 2 p.m. Kuhlman said neither driver saw the other coming into the intersection, which has no stop signs.

A passenger of the Impala, a juvenile aged male, was taken to Salina Regional Health Center as a precaution. There were no other injuries.
