Surveyors will soon be conducting work on The Avenue A overpass crossing I-135, ½ mile south of the I-135/US-56 interchange near the city of McPherson in McPherson County. The survey will extend 2000’ east and west of I-135 along east Avenue A. The field survey is scheduled to begin November 30th and will be completed by December 25th, weather permitting.

A member of the survey crew will first contact property owners and/or tenants for permission prior to entering private property. Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features within the survey corridor.

Kara LaRiviere, P.S., Field Survey Project Manager, will be in charge of this survey for the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT).
