Salina Police have arrested a woman for allegedly stealing a gun from her father.

Captain Chris Trocheck tells The Salina Post that 26-year-old Kassandra Bethe is accused of taking a Ruger .380 pistol and $50 in cash from the home of her father, 60-year-old Douglas Bethe, in the 2100 block of Pheasant Lane, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday morning.

The woman then told police the gun was taken from the driver’s side door of her vehicle sometime after she arrived at work Tuesday morning.

She was booked into the Saline County Jail on Tuesday evening on a requested charge of felony theft.

According to Trocheck, the missing gun is valued at $275.
