Roberta Evelyn Bowden, 88, of Salina, passed away (Saturday, Nov 28, 2015. She was born May 27, 1927 in Brookfield, N.H.
She worked for Salina Asbury Hospital before retiring in housekeeping.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert L. Bowden, her mother and father, Myrtle (Libby) and Raymond Cate; brother, Harry M. Cate; 3 sisters, Edith Horne, Phyliss Menard, and Dorthy Nason; and 1 grandson, Christopher Bowden.
Survivors include her children Raymond of Louisville, Ky; Roger ,Ricky, Roxanne Hiyane and Robin Brockway all of Salina, grandchildren; Joy Hiyane of Topeka, KS, Bryan (Haylee) Bowden of Salina, Randy Hiyane and Brandon Newman of Oklahoma City, OK, Allison (Brad) Deely of Louisville, KY, Jimmy (Glenda) Brockway of Salina, and Robert (Allison) Bowden of Louisville, KY; and great grandchildren, Maili Hiyane of Topeka, KS, Trinity, Christopher, and Destiny Brockway of Salina, and Emma Bowden of Louisville, KY.
Visitation will be on Wed, Dec. 2, 2015 from 2:00Pm to 6:00Pm at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina, KS. 67401
Funeral services will be held on Thurs Dec. 3, 2015 at 3:00PM at the Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel.

John Joseph Tripp, 49, of Keystone, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 29th, at Salina Regional Health Center. John was born in Spencer, Iowa on June 26, 1966, a son of the late Pauline (Baker) and Alvin Tripp.
Survivors include his significant other, Dayna Spies of Keystone, Florida; brother, Brent Tripp and wife, Katie of Waterloo, Iowa; three sisters, Teresa Klaassen and husband, Kevin of Sibley, Iowa, Paula Jarvis and husband, Robert of Pocahontas, Iowa, and Michelle Logue of Salina; his is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray funeral expenses.

TERRI LEE (KERR) BUSKIRK, 54 died December 1, 2015 in Clay Center, Kansas. She was born on July 20, 1961 in Clay Center, the daughter of Wayne and Mary (Brannan) Kerr. Terri passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. She was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1980. She worked a variety of jobs from turkey and dairy farms to concrete work and Bergstrom’s Greenhouse. Terri loved her flowers and plants, never allowing anyone to throw any out. She is preceded in death by mother, sister, Linda Webber, and 2 brothers, Larry Webber and Gene Kerr.

Gary E. Fisher, son of Eugene E. Fisher and Melva J. (Jakabosky) Fisher was born
March 15, 1959 at Belleville, Kansas and passed away on November 29, 2015 at his home in Belleville, Kansas at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 14 days.
Gary attended Belleville Public Schools and graduated with the Belleville High School class of 1977.
Gary was a happy, contented, and thankful man. Because of epilepsy he made his home with his parents, for over 56 years. Gary and his Dad worked together as a team; he did sanding, varnishing and painting as a part of his Dad’s woodworking projects. Gary’s favorite hobby was putting together jigsaw puzzles, the bigger the better.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Melva J. Fisher
He is survived by his father, Eugene E. Fisher of Belleville, KS., one brother,
Guy (Vickie) Fisher of Atlantic, Iowa, two nephews, Matthew Fisher of Des Moines, Iowa, Daniel (Selma) Fisher of London, England, one great niece, Alexandra Fisher of London, England, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, Kansas, conducted by, Rev. Guy Fisher and Rev. Vickie Fisher.
Interment will be in National Bohemian (Kopsa) Cemetery, rural Cuba, Kansas

Sandy “Nan” Herrs, 47, Washington, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at the KU Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
Visitation will be from Noon until 5 p.m., Thursday, December 3, at Ward Funeral Home in Washington.
Rosary service is at 7 p.m., Thursday, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Morrowville.
Sandy was born on May 2, 1968 to Frank and Martha (L’Ecuyer) Nutsch at Fairbury, NE. She graduated from North Central High School in 1986 and earned an Associates Degree in Office Management Systems in 1988. Sandy went to work at a hospital typing transcripts and then as a secretary at North Central High School. In 1996, Sandy started her own quilting business. She also cooked and cleaned for Midwest Outfitters Hunting Lodge.
On April 13, 2002, Sandy was united in marriage to Gene Herrs at Washington. They lived on a farm where she loved raising and riding horses and her dogs. Sandy also enjoyed making wedding cakes and scrapbooking. For relaxation, going to the lake would make her feel at peace. Sandy would always put others before herself.
Survivors include her husband, Gene; parents, Frank and Martha, Morrowville; children, Jacob Beikman, Jeremy Beikman, Jordanna Beikman, Washington; brothers, Jim (Lori) Nutsch, Linn, Bob (Jennifer) Nutsch, Morrowville; Steve (Michelle) Nutsch, Riley; sister, Cindy Herrs, Morrowville; and mother-in-law, Lola Herrs, Linn.
