The Salina Police Department has released the results from the S.T.E.P. Enforcement Campaign held over Thanksgiving holiday week.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, Salina Police officers participated in the campaign from Monday, November 23rd through Saturday, November 28th, within the City of Salina.

Officers stopped a total of 82 vehicles during the week and issued 32 citations for speeding, 16 citations for adults with no seatbelts, and 1 citation for a child restraint violation. 66 other citations were issued and 4 arrests were made, none of which were DUI arrests.

Officers logged 67.5 hours of overtime during the campaign that was paid for by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
